New “RETWEET” function on Twitter

Retweet

Last week, like many, I was added to the Twitter Beta group given a new function RETWEET.  While Retweeting is no where near a new concept this new button makes it significantly easier and quicker to spread any word to your network.  The Retweet button has obvious benefits. Not only do you need not physically write the Retweet, but it maintains the author’s and content’s originality!  Great for those accounts that are plagued by plagiarizers.  This new social distribution tool on Twitter is great.  I’d love to see the analytics behind the button.  I imagine everyone is loving it as much as me!  For those of you not in the Beta group.  I sincerely believe the feature will soon be available for all Twitter users.

Omniture's Latest on Marketing Suites in 2010I received the above email today from Omniture and thought I would share.  If you hit the Download Now button you get the choice of a webinar discussing 2010 trends or a summary PDF.  Below you will find the PDF attached.

Omniture Report

The main take away for me was that online marketing suites are not longer an option or able to be disputed as having an integral role to a 2.0 business.  Look over the report.  It is a great analysis of what it means to have a online marketing suite and to use it effectively.

Pig Roast 2009

PIGROAST

This past month A. Poole Productions in association with GNU VUE Marketing sponsored a Pig Roast at the Stephen-Connors American Legion Post in Rush, NY.  Participants arrived to the scent and sight of a 240lb pig roasting on bright red coals.  With over 10 dozen ears of corn, 5 gallons of beans, and other succulent sides pork was served to over 200 people.  Next year  is already shaping up  to be a success with almost every guest reporting extreme amounts of fund and withdrawal symptoms from pork.
