Last week, like many, I was added to the Twitter Beta group given a new function RETWEET. While Retweeting is no where near a new concept this new button makes it significantly easier and quicker to spread any word to your network. The Retweet button has obvious benefits. Not only do you need not physically write the Retweet, but it maintains the author’s and content’s originality! Great for those accounts that are plagued by plagiarizers. This new social distribution tool on Twitter is great. I’d love to see the analytics behind the button. I imagine everyone is loving it as much as me! For those of you not in the Beta group. I sincerely believe the feature will soon be available for all Twitter users.

This is a great video for anyone who is unclear about what to measure when it comes to Social Media ROI. Social Media Marketing is no longer a difficult sell to upper management and these basic points will help anyone explain how Social Media can improve their brand awareness, customer engagement, and stimulate future less-costly sales.
Below are some other articles that speak of ROI in relation to Social Media Marketing – Enjoy!

I received the above email today from Omniture and thought I would share. If you hit the Download Now button you get the choice of a webinar discussing 2010 trends or a summary PDF. Below you will find the PDF attached.
The main take away for me was that online marketing suites are not longer an option or able to be disputed as having an integral role to a 2.0 business. Look over the report. It is a great analysis of what it means to have a online marketing suite and to use it effectively.

Have you checked out VW’s new project -TheFunTheory.com? The website is “dedicated to the thought that something as simple as fun is the easiest way to change people’s behaviour for the better. Be it for yourself, for the environment, or for something entirely different, the only thing that matters is that it’s change for the better.” On the homepage you can view examples of experiments that have already been conducted to prove this theory. What I find most interesting is the marketing genius of the contest that is associated with the website. Applicants have until the 15th of November to submit their own experiments that will be judged for a 2,500 euro prize. This will certainly boost Volkswagen’s public and social media image. They are certain to have a vast library of excellent submissions. Let’s hope they share! You can find more information on the rules of the contest and how to submit your entry at the following link: http://thefuntheory.com/?q=rolighetsstipendiet
