A new type of online advertising has been born right here in Rochester!  Adventive LLC a new start-up from Pittsford, NY is on it’s way to AdTech (BOOTH: 1243) this week to present how it will revolutionize the online advertising industry.  According to the AdTech website ”Adventive is a completely new form of online advertising. With Adventive advertisers can improve brand experience and optimize display advertising based on revenue, not click-through rate. Publishers can capture performance-based ad dollars in addition to brand dollars and extend their advertising inventory and features without having to extend their content.” Adventive will certainly be something to watch in the next few months as it moves full speed ahead into the online advertising community.

ValueClick’s ActiveAds

ValueClick’s (www.valueclick.com) ActveAds are a new way for advertisers and publishers to more effectively air banner ads.  Based on an “infinite” amount of attributes ActiveAds can change ads’ creative directions based on User, Geographical, and Contextual data.  An interesting product from a company that posted a nice profit in the fourth quarter of last year.
